The Bible encourages stewardship of the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and acknowledges the value of physicians (Colossians 4:14, Matthew 9:12). Also Jeremiah 30:17: “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.”
